You fly for a couple hours and then the people you transport go do their thing and you're on your own. I'll sometimes bring my golf clubs and hit a local course. If I've not visited the area before I'll go check out any interesting tourist traps/museums, etc. I'll go see a movie that the wife wouldn't want to see. Then when it's time to depart, show up at the airport a couple hours before takeoff and get everything set.

If it's a day trip, which a lot of mine are, then I'll usually just hang out in the Pilot Lounge at the airport. I'll watch Netflix for a while, or watch the TV. I often get a nap in, usually after taking the crew car to get some lunch. If the place has a shower, I'll bring some workout clothes and go for a jog. And I've got couple websites that I run that make some money on the side and I'll work on those.
